to space and air that helps in hearing. Karna purna is performed by massaging the ear and
surrounding tissues with medicated herbal oil. Then warm medicated oil is poured into the ear
canal. The oil stays there for a certain period of time controlling vata dosha and providing
rejuvenation to the ear membrane.
